South Korea's Huneed Technologies announced on Tuesday that it has signed a teaming agreement with the UK-based Codan Communications DTC.

The two companies inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate to develop next-generation military radio network solutions using Ad-hoc technologies in October last year.

Under the agreement, both sides plan to make the equipment for overseas exports.

Ad-hoc networks enable independent communication between wireless terminals without relying on fixed infrastructure, making them ideal for battlefield environments.

Established in 1959, Codan Communication DTC is specialized in communication solutions for military and defense. The company supplies its products to 19 NATO member countries including the US and the UK.
