South Korea's agricultural chemical company FarmHannong Co. announced on Thursday that
its new herbicide Terrad'or will enter the Pakistani market. The company will launch Terrad'or emulsifiable concentrate as a pre-plant herbicide for potato seeding in Pakistan on April 10.
Since 2019, the company has been preparing for the release of Terrad'or by conducting efficacy trials in non-crop areas, orchards and potato fields with its local partner Kanzo Ag.
FarmHannong has actively sought technology patents and product registrations in 29 countries, including the United States, Japan and China, to expand its global reach.
"We plan to expand the Terrad'or business market to non-crop areas, orchards and other fields, and actively expand distribution channels," said Choi Hak-yong, head of FarmHannong's overseas business.
