T’way Air Co. said on Tuesday that it would start running the Pokemon-wrapped airplane "Pikachu Jet TW" from the end of this month and release four types of Pokemon special edition goods.

Pokemon Co. planned the "Flying Pikachu Program" to provide travelers with wonderful memories and to support the aviation and tourism industries through the Pikachu Jet. T'way Air also took part in the program and introduced an aircraft wrapped with Pokemon characters for the first time among domestic airlines.

T’way Air’s Pikachu Jet TW will hold an inaugural event at Gimpo Airport on Dec. 28 and will start full-scale operation, starting with flight TW667 between Gimpo and Songshan Airport in Taipei. It will be mainly used on the Gimpo-Songshan route and domestic flights departing from Gimpo Airport.

During the event, random Pikachu stickers will be given away to all passengers, and free tickets for Japan routes will be presented to passengers who draw a Pilot Pikachu sticker.
