Artificial intelligence

South Korea's KT Corp. is partnering with the intelligent solutions specialist company BI Matrix to develop technology that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically extract and analyze data and generate reports when given keywords as input.

KT announced on Friday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with BI Matrix for AI technology collaboration.

Through this MOU, the two companies have agreed to collaborate on developing technology that can analyze natural language as data using BI Matrix's automatic generation solution G-Matrix.

In addition, they will jointly pursue the development of a data analysis-specific language model, AI-based data analysis solutions, exploration of the data platform market, and the development of domain-specific data analysis solutions.

G-Matrix is a solution that extracts the necessary data and automatically generates reports with just the input of analysis keywords. KT is providing functionality that allows analysis keywords to be input in natural language into G-Matrix.

Until now, businesses have built various work systems using tools like Excel to understand their business status and data analysis. Through the collaboration between KT and BI Matrix, domestic and international B2B companies are expected to be able to obtain data-based insights through simple questions without having to learn coding or analysis techniques. This means that they will be able to ask questions, similar to portal searches, and receive not only data analysis but also reports.
