Hyundai Motor Group announced on Wednesday that it won two categories at the "World's Greatest Auto Disruptors 2023" awards ceremony by Newsweek, a US weekly news magazine. Newsweek selects individuals and organizations that have led the most creative changes in the global automotive industry and presents awards in nine categories.

Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Hyundai Motor Group, was named a "Disruptor Designer of the Year" this year. Genesis House, a complex brand hub of Genesis, won in the "Marketing Strategy of the Year" category.

As the head of design-based brand communication for Hyundai Motor Group, Donckerwolke is recognized for presenting a new vision to the automotive industry with Genesis design. The "X Concept" series and the sedan G90 are representative examples of the design direction of the Genesis brand.

Genesis House is a complex brand hub located in Manhattan's Meatpacking District. It is designed as a space for various cultural experiences such as vehicle exhibitions and high-end restaurants. Since its opening in 2021, it has been used as a venue for fashion shows, musical performances and installation art.
