South Korea's Hyundai Motor Co. on Wednesday unveiled the latest version of its high-performance N brand's flagship model, the "New Avante N".

The high-performance variant of the existing New Avante was first showcased at the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition in April last year and received significant attention.

Hyundai integrated the dynamic driving sensibility from high-performance motorsports into various aspects of the vehicle, making it stand out with its performance-tuned capabilities and exceptional handling.

The New Avante N is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat power engine, featuring a characteristic that maintains maximum output from 5500rpm, allowing for versatile acceleration in a wide range of scenarios.

Drivers can choose between an 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and a 6-speed manual transmission, offering a customizable "sports car in daily life" experience. With an impressive output of 280 horsepower and maximum torque of 40 kgf·m, the Avante N can temporarily unleash 290 horsepower through the N green shift (NGS) system, increasing turbo pressure for added performance.

Hyundai has also introduced the "New Avante N Line" model, which amplifies the sporty essence of the N brand with distinctive design elements.

The Avante N trim now includes gasoline and hybrid models, providing a high-performance design experience across different powertrains. Safety and convenience features have been thoughtfully incorporated to cater to both daily driving and track experiences.

The design language emphasizes the dynamic driving sensibility, based on the Avante's Parametric Dynamics theme. The vehicle showcases sporty details like front and rear bumpers, exclusive 19-inch wheels, and black emblems, giving it a dynamic and aggressive appearance.

The Avante N is equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems. With a high-strength lightweight body and eight airbags, including rear seat side airbags, the vehicle ensures customer safety. Safety and convenience features such as surround view monitor (SVM), blind-spot view monitor (BVM), intelligent speed limit assist (ISLA), and built-in cam further enhance the driving experience, providing safety and enjoyment on the road.
