Hyundai Motor Co. said on Wednesday its launch of an electric vehicle (EV) charging subscription service for vehicle owners in Indonesia

Subscribers will have access to 518 chargers at 228 EV charging stations operated by Hyundai Motor and its local partners throughout Indonesia.

The service is available in three subscription tiers: 50, 100, and 250 kWh. If the subscribed capacity is exceeded, additional credits can be purchased.

To encourage the adoption of EVs, Hyundai Motor is offering a one-year discount on subscription fees for customers who purchased its EVs in Indonesia after September.

The service can be accessed through the MyHyundai Indonesia app and supports mobile payment methods, addressing the country’s low credit card usage.

Hyundai Motor’s service is the only one in Indonesia that offers access to chargers from multiple providers.

Hyundai Motor plans to open the service to customers of other EV brands beginning in January next year, enhancing the country’s EV infrastructure.
