HI Investment & Securities Co. was rebranded as iM Securities after it held an extraordinary shareholders' meeting at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, on Tuesday.

Its parent company DGB Financial Group has decided to add "iM" to the names of both its banking and non-banking affiliates.

In June, its core unit Daegu Bank was rebranded to iM Bank after it was allowed to expand its services beyond the city of Daegu.

With the name change, iM Securities introduced its new vision "Better Value, Future Together" under the new slogan "iM More, iM Fine."

"The new slogan emphasizes that all employees should do their best with a sense of ownership, focusing on the core values of customers, companies and employees. 'iM Fine' means qualitative growth and a healthy organization," explained an iM Securities official.

"As HI Investment & Securities with a 35-year history is rebranded as iM Securities, we are committed to creating customer value, corporate value and employee value with all our employees, aiming to create a sustainable company that will last 100 years," said its CEO Sung Moo-Yong.
