South Korea's Pharmgen Science announced on Wednesday that it has initiated shipments for its healthcare brand "neomcell" for the first direct export to Vietnam.

The items being exported to Vietnam this time consist of 20,000 units of neomcell's beauty care products. The company plans to add new items such as cosmetics to its export package by the end of the year.

In June this year, Pharmgen Science signed an export and distribution agreement with Medicare, a specialized healthcare distribution company based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Medicare is expected to supply neomcell brand's beauty care products throughout Vietnam. Located in Hanoi, Vietnam, the company serves as a distributor of pharmaceuticals, health supplements, cosmetics and medical devices through approximately 6,000 hospitals, pharmacies, drugstores, aesthetic shops and more.

Pharmgen Science aims to expand its exports to neighboring Southeast Asian countries following the commencement of neomcell exports. The company has been operating a liaison office in Hanoi, Vietnam, since July.
