Korea Midland Power Co. (KOMIPO) announced on Tuesday that a consortium consisting of its Indonesian subsidiary, KOMIPO Energy Indonesia (KEI), and domestic companies including KEPCO KPS and KLES secured the contract for turbine and generator maintenance at the Tanjung Jati Power Plant in Indonesia.

The Tanjung Jati Power Plant, located on the island of Java, is a key facility under the Indonesian state electricity company PT.PLN.

"The excellent operational and maintenance capabilities of our country's energy companies possess sufficient competitiveness in the global market," CEO of KOMIPO Kim Hobin said.

"Based on the trust built through the operation of various overseas projects, we will actively support the international expansion of our companies."
