Hyundai Card said on Wednesday that its annual Da Vinci Motel event will feature state-of-the-art mixed reality (MR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences provided by Meta Platforms.

The cultural festival, set to occur from Sept. 15 to 17 in the Itaewon Hyundai Card Zone, offers a broad range of interdisciplinary programs covering art, academia, business and technology.

In collaboration with Meta, Hyundai Card aims to amplify the immersive elements of the event on Sept. 16 and 17. Visitors to the Hyundai Card Music Library Plaza will be treated to a special metaverse experience that transports them to the landscapes of the California desert from the 1960s.

This innovative MR experience will be accessible through Meta's Quest Pro VR-MR headset. Once attendees put on the headset, they will find themselves instantly immersed in the Da Vinci Motel’s virtual environment, engaging deeply with artists participating in the event.
