SSG.COM, the e-commerce platform of South Korean retail heavyweight Shinsegae Inc., revealed on Tuesday its exclusive introduction of Swiss luxury brand Piaget's new "Polo Chronograph" men's watch.

Available solely on SSG.COM until the close of August, the luxury timepiece will hit Shinsegae's physical department stores in September. The price is about 25 million won ($19,044).

This is not SSG.COM's first foray into luxury digital debuts. In a trailblazing move in 2021, the platform was the first of its kind to feature luxury timepiece brands such as Piaget and Panerai on its online storefronts.

Moreover, the platform has been intensifying its collaborative ties with brands by prioritizing the introduction of premium products online.
