Samsung Electronics Co. on Wednesday said it has supplied a large number of smart signage and TV screens to Atlantis the Royal, a luxury hotel and resort in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, that was opened last month.

Located on the artificial island Palm Jumeirah, the hotel has a unique exterior design of three hotel and three residence buildings stacked like blocks.

The hotel interior features Samsung Electronics products. The Wall, the company's Ultra HD display combining MicroLED technology, is installed at the penthouse Royal Mansion, the hotel's top room, with a huge size of 146 inches and 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution

Atlantis the Royal is the first Middle Eastern hotel to install The Wall, a modular type of MicroLED display configurable in a range of sizes and shapes, in one of its rooms. The screen offers custom production and a high sense of immersion with a bezel-free slim design.

The Dubai hotel has also installed Ultra HD 4K TVs at all of its 795 rooms and residences including top-tier spaces. The screens match the characteristics of an array of spaces such as hotel lobbies, spas and outdoor pools.

The company also installed smart LED signage of a maximum 6 meters wide and 8.5 meters long on three large water tanks at the hotel lobby. A hanging-type sign between the tanks and the wall displays visual spectacles like fish swimming in the sea.

"Atlantis The Royal Hotel is expected to emerge as a landmark in the Middle East in offering the best experience for visitors with signage solutions like The Wall," Samsung Gulf Electronics President Lee Doo-hee said. "We will keep contributing to creating future-oriented innovative spaces by supplying LED signage and a variety of operating solutions with unrivaled technology to hotels and resort complexes."
