LG Electronics Inc. unveiled its latest LG gram laptop on Wednesday, powered by Intel's new  Intel Core Ultra processor (Series 2) during an event in Berlin, Germany, where IFA 2024.

The new gram offers a threefold increase in AI processing power, a 40% improvement in power efficiency, and a 50% boost in graphics performance compared to previous models, all thanks to the Lunar Lake chip.

It offers up to an impressive 48 neural processing unit (NPU) tera operations per second (TOPS), setting a new standard for AI PCs and providing the exceptional performance required for Copilot experiences.

The AI gram Link features seamless sharing of photos and screens with up to 10 devices, while AI automatically organizes photos into 39 categories.

LG plans to launch the next-generation gram series in key global markets later this year, with final specifications yet to be confirmed.

With AI PCs expected to account for around 60% of total shipments by 2027, according to IDC, gram's enhanced AI capabilities position it well for the growing market.
