Samsung Electronics Co. was selected the Most Ultimate Brand 2024 by the UK-based global brand marketing and consulting company.

According to the tech giant on Friday, FutureBrand released The FutureBrand Index 2024.

FutureBrand explained its index performs consistently and universally well on the 18 attributes it measures in the Index. The assessment involved interviews with over 3,000 industry experts.

In this index, Samsung was first among 100 brands, including Apple and Nike. FutureBrand praised Samsung as "The emotionally intelligent innovator."

Samsung received high scores in authenticity, thought leadership, and well-being underscoring the company’s role as a trusted industry leader aligned with contemporary values.

The future brand is a brand poised for future success. It is perceived to balance a sense of purpose with a universally great experience right across its value chain.

Apple, the top of the Most Ultimate Brand 2023 by FutureBrand, dropped to third place in this year.

Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASML rose from ninth to fifth, while Taiwan's TSMC fell from fourth to ninth. Other notable rankings include Applied Materials at 13th, Microsoft at 14th, and Intel at 17th.

In a separate report earlier this month, Interbrand ranked Samsung Electronics fifth in its Global Top 100 Brands, with the company's brand value exceeding $100 billion for the first time.

Samsung Electronics also topped Nikkei Research's Global Brand Survey 2024.
