The ESG Report of Hankook Tire & Technology won the gold prize in the 2022 Spotlight Awards hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).

LACP is an international marketing research organization established by American communications professionals. Every year since 2001, it has reviewed and awarded sustainability management reports and annual reports published by companies and organizations across the world. This year, more than 500 works from 12 countries were submitted, the largest volume ever.

Hankook Tire's 2021/22 ESG Report received the highest score in four out of six evaluation categories, including first impression, narrative, design, and creativity, and recorded an average score of 98 out of 100. It was also selected as one of the best works of the "World Top 100."

Since 2010, Hankook Tire has published an ESG report that shares the company's sustainability management performances and mid- to long-term strategies for the year.

This year's report focused on the following three priorities: Eco value chain, sustainable products, and responsible engagement, according to the ESG vision established last year.

With the intention to actively participate in addressing the climate crisis, which has recently emerged as one of the most pressing global issues, the report covered the company's "carbon neutral roadmap" in detail in the highlight section.

Following the establishment of the ESG Committee in July last year, Hankook Tire announced the "Corporate Governance Charter" for greenhouse gas reduction led by the board of directors in May this year, promoting ESG management at the company-wide level.
