South Korean fashion company Handsome Corp. announced on Wednesday that it will open its first global flagship store System and System Homme Paris in the Marais district of Paris, France, on June 20.
The new store, spanning two floors with a total area of 470 square meters, will be the largest among the 147 System and System Homme stores.
The store is designed with the concept of "Seoul, where the past and present coexist," and was created in collaboration with famous domestic and international designers and artists, including experts in traditional Korean wooden architecture patterns known as "dancheong."
The store will showcase over 400 items, including clothing and accessories, featuring System & System Homme's global exclusive line introduced at Paris Fashion Week in 2019.
The store will serve as a global logistics hub, offering worldwide shipping services from Europe to North and South America, and the Middle East through the System and System Homme global online platform launched in March.
Starting with the opening of the Paris flagship store, Handsome plans to hold a pop-up event for local customers at the renowned Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris in July.
The company also aims to accelerate the expansion of its global sales network by opening official stores in large retail spaces in Europe, North America and other regions.
