With their latest digital single Jump, Blackpink has become the first – and so far only – South Korean act to top Spotify’s Global Top Songs Weekly Chart twice, following their 2022 hit Shut Down and setting a new benchmark for K-pop’s global rise, according to the group’s agency YG Entertainment Inc. on Saturday.
The ranking, announced on July 17, highlights the group’s unmatched streaming power and international reach.
Jump, a high-energy track built on bold visuals and a punchy beat, soared to the top just a day after its
release on July 11 and has kept the crown for six straight days.
The song garnered more than 44 million streams on Spotify since its debut.
On YouTube, the music video for Jump was also the most-viewed video globally within 24 hours of release and has remained No. 1 on the platform’s Global Daily Top Music Videos chart for seven consecutive days.
The digital single also dominated iTunes charts in 61 countries, including the US, and earned top-tier rankings on Korea’s major streaming platforms like Melon, Genie and Flo.
Jump’s record-setting run comes as Blackpink continues
its massive Deadline world tour, spanning 16 cities and 31 shows. After opening in Goyang, South Korea, and completing a major stop in Los Angeles, the group is set to perform in global stadiums across Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
