Netmarble Corp. announced on Thursday that it premiered a teaser video for its new game “The King of Fighters (KOF) AFK” at the SNK booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024, which kicked off in Japan.

“The King of Fighters AFK” is a character-collecting, idle role-playing game (RPG) utilizing SNK's ‘KOF’ intellectual property (IP) and is being developed by NetmarbleNeo Inc.

“The King of Fighters AFK” is characterized by reinterpreting popular characters from the KOF series with dot graphics to maximize retro sensibility and character collection fun.

Netmarble opened the official teaser site and YouTube channel for “The King of Fighters AFK”  and plans to gradually inform users about the game, including the teaser video.

KOF is SNK's representative IP that led the fighting game craze in the 1990s, and has been loved for a long time and has released 15 official series to date.
