Shinsegae Department Store revealed on Friday that they will collaborate with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to assist domestic fashion companies in expanding their international presence.

Shinsegae is set to launch an online export platform named "Kfashion82" in May, which aims to facilitate overseas growth for small- and medium-sized enterprise brands.

By joining this platform, domestic fashion brands can effortlessly secure global sales channels without the need for separate contracts or customs procedures.

Shinsegae plans to allocate more than half of the domestic brand spaces on the platform to new brands and will provide support in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese languages to aid in overseas sales.

Moreover, domestic companies will have the opportunity to participate in major KOTRA programs, such as Boom-up Korea in Seoul next month and the Korean Wave Expo in Frankfurt, Germany, in June, to further promote their exports.
