The 1,500 startups in S.Korea and overseas showcase their technologies, with global companies such as LVMH and HP

The Korea International Trade Association and Korea Development Bank announced on Thursday that the Asia's largest startup fair "NextRise 2024 Seoul" will be held from June 13-14  at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. 

NextRise, an event jointly hosted annually by the trade association and Korea Development Bank since 2019, has introduced the guest country system this year and designated Japan as the first guest country.

Around 1,500 startups in South Korea and overseas will participate to showcase their businesses and technologies.

Global companies and mid-sized enterprises such as LVMH, HP, Lufthansa and Volvo will also take part in to find startup partners.

Major Japanese companies and investment firms such as Mitsubishi, Mizuho, Sony, Rakuten, and Incubate Fund  will participate in the event. 

Various programs will be held, including the promotion of startup innovative technologies and products, one-on-one business meetings, lectures by renowned domestic and international figures, startup IR pitching, recruitment briefings and networking events.
