BB.Q Chicken, the country’s leading franchise, said on Friday it opened its second restaurant in Manhattan on Dec.1. This restaurant is BB.Q's second directly operated flagship store in the US.

The first floor is a "Grab-and-Go" place for office workers and students, and the second floor is a "Chicken-and-Beer" restaurant where people can enjoy fried chicken while drinking beer.

BB.Q opened its first direct location on 32nd Street in Manhattan in 2017, then expanded to Chicago and Los Angeles, and now operates more than 150 locations in 20 states in the US.

As the biggest factor for its rapid growth in the US market, BB.Q cites its differentiated taste and flavor, which produces a uniform taste under strict quality control. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, BB.Q believes its deep-fried chicken is different than American-style chicken.

"We plan to open a third directly operated store in Englewood in northern New Jersey at the end of this year, modeled after BB.Q Smart Kitchen, a store specializing in packaging and delivery. We will aggressively expand the market until we are America's No. 1 franchise brand," a BB.Q official said,
