Korea's largest auto parts supplier Hyundai Mobis will take part in CES 2023, the world's largest info tech exhibition, to showcase cutting-edge technologies used in purpose-built vehicles (PBVs).

The company said on Monday that it would reveal various new future mobility technologies at CES, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8 next year.

It plans to set up the largest-ever exhibition space (780 square meters) to introduce new technologies that can be mass-produced, and highlight its future business vision and carbon-neutral strategy through on-site media presentations.

More specifically, the PBV concept models "M Vision TO" and "M Vision HI" will be unveiled for the first time. TO means moving toward the future, and HI means emphasizing user-oriented experience (humanity).

TO, a self-driving vehicle based on an electric system, combines new technologies such as cameras, radars, and lidar sensors with mixed-reality displays on four pillars on the front and rear sides of the vehicle. Inside, there are seats that can be folded or swiveled.

HI is a PBV developed for leisure, relaxation, and outdoor purposes. The vehicle glass is used as a large display so that the driver and passengers can watch movies or shop online.
