LG Electronics Inc.' OLED Evo has been touted as "The Best TV of the Year" by several global media outlets.

According to company sources on Wednesday, British media outlet Tech Advisor recently selected LG OLED Evo (C2 series) as its "Best TV."

Britain's other tech media outlet Techradar also picked the same C2 series as the "TV of the Year" and "Gaming TV of the Year."

In the "TV of the Year" selected by Britain's What Hi-Fi?, the C2 series won in four categories: 75-77 inches, 65 inches, 40-43 inches, and top gaming TV.

In addition, Reviewed, an affiliate of USA Today,  picked the 55C2 model as the best TV, and British GamesRader chose the 42C2 model as the best gaming TV.

America's Digital Trends handpicked the 65G2 model as the best TV, commenting, "It provides everything movie, sports, and game lovers want."

"We will continue to provide unprecedented experiences to customers around the world with differentiated technology of OLED Evo," said Jung Jae-cheol, head of Home Entertainment Research Center at LG Electronics.
