South Korea’s LG Innotek Co. said on Dec. 15 it will showcase its new products for electric and autonomous vehicle parts at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, and also welcome individual customers to its booth at the annual tech event.

The company, a major supplier of camera modules for Apple iPhones, had previously invited only corporate clients to the show and this will be the first time it offers a booth for general visitors.

The electronics components maker's booth will be located in the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, a mobility tech exhibition venue, to expand its presence in the global EV and self-driving car market.

At the event next month, the company will showcase autonomous car parts such as camera modules for advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) technology, sensor fusion solutions, light detection and ranging (LiDAR) solutions and 5G-speed Wi-Fi combo modules that optimize connectivity between cars and smartphones.

It will also display EV parts including direct current-direct current (DC-DC) converters and electric vehicle communication controllers (EVCCs) for charging, as well as unveil a wireless battery management system that the firm has independently developed.

Other products such as 3D sensing modules for extended reality (XR), display assembly for metaverse products and semiconductor substrates will also be showcased at the exhibition booth.

Essential parts for 5G communications of mobile devices, such as antenna-in-package (AiP), radio frequency-system in package (RF SiP) substrates and flip-chip ball grid array (FC-BGA), and renewables solutions including solar hybrid inverters and DC-DC converters for energy storage systems (ESS) will also be unveiled.

LG Innotek will operate an online exhibition through its website, where users can virtually look around the booth and check out the product features during the show.
