South Korea's cloud management company Bespin Global will foster cloud and digital innovation industries in Central Vietnam. To this end, the company said Monday that it has entered into strategic partnerships with HueCIT, Vietnam's Hue municipal government organization, and Hue University within the city.
The latest alliance was concluded by the three organizations' intention to enlist and nurture digital talents in a region centered on Thien-Hue Province in Central Vietnam.
In the near future, the company plans to release a talent training blueprint that will contribute to making the province the center of the nation's smart city industry, including the establishment of Bespin Global Tech Center Vietnam.
According to the terms of the agreement, HueCIT and Hue University will fully support the discovery and sign-up of highly educated digital talent in the province, and Bespin Global, together with HueCIT, will administer digital innovation training for recruited personnel.
HueCIT and Hue University, which lead digitalization efforts in Central Vietnam, currently educate more than 1,500 students a year.
Hue is the provincial capital of Thien-Hue. The province, which has a population of 1.3 million, is scheduled to open direct international flights in the first half of this year, starting with Thailand and other neighboring countries subsequently.
As the smart city effort of Thien-Hue progresses rapidly along with the economic growth of Vietnam, the demand for a professional workforce needed for the cloud and smart city industries is also on the rise.
"Through this partnership, Bespin Global will establish a technological and industrial base, HueCIT will provide policy and infrastructure support, and Hue University will supply the excellent digital talent. It will be an important foundation for establishing a Bespin Global Tech Center in Hue and providing support for the region's future direction based on it," said Park Kyung-hoon, CEO of Bespin Global Asia.
