South Korea's Hyundai Doosan Infracore Co. on Wednesday said that in a news conference in Las Vegas on the day before, it unveiled its new construction equipment brand Develon and the latter's brand identity.

"Develon" is a combination of the terms "develop" and "onwards."

Incorporated as an affiliate of HD Hyundai Group in August 2021, the company from March will use the new name instead of Doosan on all construction equipment and remove "Doosan" from its official name within the first of the year.

A shareholders' meeting also in the first half of this year will confirm the switch to Develon.
