South Korea's leading ad agency and marketing company Cheil Worldwide has established a corporation in Casablanca, Morocco, in the Maghreb to broaden its presence in emerging markets and bolster its network in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Maghreb corporation, Cheil's tenth overseas subsidiary in the Middle East and Africa, officially began operations last month, focusing on retail and digital services in Morocco, with plans to expand to Tunisia and Algeria in the future.

Cheil's move into the region is driven by growing demand for digital marketing services in the Maghreb, where the advertising markets in Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia have grown along with a surge in Internet users.

"We aim to provide the best solutions to advertisers and actively support the development of new advertisers by collaborating with all networks in the Middle East and Africa, including the Maghreb corporation," said Jung Yoo-seok, general managing director of Cheil.

The company has a long history of expansion in the Middle East and North Africa region, having established its first hub in Dubai in 1996, and has since expanded to nine countries, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt.

With the establishment of the Maghreb corporation, Cheil's overseas network now encompasses 54 branches in 46 countries.
