LG Electronics Inc. announced on Tuesday the launch of its latest air conditioner, the LG Whisen Tower II. The product boasts a sleek design that eliminates the circular outlet present in its predecessor, the Whisen Tower.

The decision to modify the front of the air conditioner was driven by customer feedback, with many requesting a more streamlined and aesthetically pleasing appearance when the device is not in use. To address this concern, LG implemented a digital circle lighting system that serves both as mood lighting and an information display.

The Whisen Tower II is available in three different models - Deluxe, Special and Hit - each with expanded pricing options to cater to individual convenience preferences. The product retains popular features of the Whisen Tower, such as the automatic cleaning control that ensures a clear path for air to pass through, and the self-cleaning control, allowing customers to clean internal fans whenever they need.

LG Electronics also announced the application of R32 refrigerant with a significantly lower global warming potential (GWP) of one-third to one-fourth compared to existing R410A refrigerant across all Whisen Stand Air Conditioner products for 2023.
