Korea Ginseng Corp. (KGC), wholly owned by South Korean tobacco giant KT&G Corp. , announced on Thursday its participation in the "2023 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference" held in Singapore from May 7 to 11, laying a foundation for expanding into the Middle East and Europe beyond the Asian market.

The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference is the world's largest tax-free exhibition organized by the Tax Free World Association, held twice a year in Singapore (May) and Cannes, France (October).

As the fourth participation since its first entry in 2017, Korea Ginseng showcased its flagship red ginseng products from CheongKwanJang, the No. 1 brand in the global ginseng market for ten consecutive years, at this exhibition.

In particular, the CheongKwanJang booth featured ginseng, deer antler and liquid glue zones, introducing popular items by each category, and presented products in collaboration with Dong-E-E-Jiao Co., a health food company under China Resources Group. In addition, through the lounge zone, the company showcased cocktails using CheongKwanJang's vitality and good base products, offering the brand experience.

"As a representative health functional food brand of South Korea, CheongKwanJang aims to lead the global duty-free market," a Korea Ginseng official said.
