Renault Korea announced on Friday that it plans to establish and run an automobile-related experiential space called Renault Korea Hub in the metaverse starting from this fall.

Renault Korea Hub will be operated within K-verse, a space within the blockchain-based metaverse platform The Sandbox, specifically designed for Korean brands.

During the upcoming land sale event, where new partners will be unveiled, participants will have the opportunity to purchase adjacent lands. The theme of this land sale is Korean Wave Rising.

Participants will be able to acquire adjacent lands to various leading Korean brands, including Renault Korea, through subscription and auction.

According to Renault Korea, Renault Korea Hub, the first complete car project in The Sandbox, is expected to provide a space where visitors can enjoy various experiences and games, such as developing their own designed vehicles.

In Renault Korea Hub, visitors can also experience Renault Korea vehicles, technology, design philosophy and the stories behind each vehicle, implemented in voxel (volume and pixel) format.

"Our company plans to continue various web 3.0 activities centered around the metaverse and non-fungible tokens," CEO of Renault Korea Stéphane Deblaise said.
