South Korea's Kia Corp. announced on Tuesday that it will begin exclusive EV9 care services. The company will offer after-sale services throughout the entire lifecycle of the EV9 for consumers who have purchased the vehicle.

Kia will manage the vehicle's condition using the over-the-air update feature. It will offer remote diagnostic services to minimize visits to service centers and plan to assist in automatic emergency relief and accident handling in case of airbag deployment during accidents.

Care services for vehicle intake and delivery will also be provided. If vehicle intake is required, the company will provide a delivery service that picks up the consumer's vehicle for maintenance and then transports it back to the owner's location. It also plans to offer rental cars for consumers who face inconvenience during the maintenance period.

The transportation service will be provided up to six times free of charge within three years or 60,000 km of one-way distance. Consumers can apply for this service through Kia's integrated reservation center or service centers. Within 15 days of vehicle delivery after maintenance, a mobile coupon will also be issued.

Car wash coupons can be used up to six times within three years or 60,000 km, and vehicle charging coupons can be issued without any restrictions on the number of times, even after the warranty period has elapsed.

"We have introduced a care program, including over-the-air remote diagnostics and K-delivery service, to ensure that EV9 customers can use their vehicles without inconvenience. We will continue to improve service quality, including vehicle care, to sustain the Car Life with EV9," said a Kia official.
