Major institutional investors in South Korea and global asset managers will share their views on the world economy and asset allocation strategies at ASK 2023 to be held Oct. 25-26 at Conrad Seoul hotel.

The biannual conference on alternative investments has been hosted by The Korea Economic Daily since 2013, gathering global asset owners, investment managers, professionals from brokerages, as well as from consulting and law firms.

Some 60 institutional investors and asset managers will deliver presentations and join panel sessions on equity, debt, real estate and infrastructure in private markets at the two-day conference, with around 1,000 attendees.

On the first day, the forum will cover the global real asset market, starting with keynote speeches from National Pension Service (NPS), the world’s third-largest pension fund, and sovereign wealth fund Korea Investment Corporation (KIC).

There will be an infrastructure managers’ session on the morning of the day. CBRE Investment Management, NextEnergy Capital, Schroders Greencoat and Fengate Asset Management will discuss the economic outlook of the next year and share their capital deployment strategies.

In the afternoon, real estate managers Harbor Group International, Nuveen, Heitman and abrdn will speak at the general partners’ session.

At the final session of the day, chief investment officers from Korean institutional investors will share their prioritized strategies in asset allocation and LP-GP partnerships for the next year. The panelists are from National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, Lina Life Insurance and Construction Guarantee Cooperative.
