Hankook Tire & Technology announced on Wednesday that it will supply new tires for the mid-sized truck Hino from the Japanese Toyota Group.

The tires provided by Hankook Tire for Toyota's commercial vehicle brand Hino L Series include two products for medium and long-distance truck and bus radial Tire (TBR) AH37 and DL11.

According to Hankook Tire, both tire models boast excellent durability, fuel efficiency and mileage. The company explained that these models have received the SmartWay certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency, which is awarded to high-efficiency energy and eco-friendly products.

In particular, the AH37, fitted on the Hino L6 and L7 models, is designed to reduce rolling resistance directly related to vehicle fuel efficiency, thus improving overall fuel economy.

The Hino L Series has gained popularity as one of the most favored mid-sized truck models, especially in the US and Canada, since its launch in the North American market in 2020.
