South Korean convenience store chain GS25 said on Sunday that it opened its 300th store in Vietnam.

This is the milestone since it entered the Vietnamese market in 2028.

The company on Monday announced the opening of a new two-story convenience store, 392 square meters in the university district of Ho Chi Minh City.

The new store, GS25 Dien Bien Phu, is a super-sized convenience store, two to three times the size of typical convenience stores.

It features over 20 tables on the second floor to accommodate customers.

The twisted bread stick store, a collaboration between GS25, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and domestic small business coffee and donut brand Bontemps, has been established.

This is the first introduction of such a store in Vietnam since the three-party agreement was made in April to support K-food exports.
