LIG Nex1 Co., a leading defense system developer in South Korea, announced on Thursday that it has received an AA rating in the 2024 environmental, social and governance (ESG) evaluation conducted by the global ESG evaluation agency Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) for the second consecutive year.

The AA rating is the highest within the domestic defense industry, placing LIG Nex1 among the leading group in the ESG sector, alongside companies with the top AAA rating in the seven-tier system.

LIG Nex1 received excellent evaluations for its strict quality management system, employee communication and participation programs, and ESG committee activities.

The company plans to publish its first sustainability management report this month, summarizing the results of its ESG efforts.
