Hyundai Department Store Co. said on Sunday that it would introduce the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot "Jellppo." Jellppo is an AI-based one-on-one consultation service that provides consultation and information services related to Hyundai Department Store and its official online store TheHyundai.com.

Users can check information such as shopping benefits related to the department store's locations, pop-up stores, and newly launched brands, as well as pre-payment for parking and order inquiries.

In addition, the chat feature allows users to talk to human counselors in the store's call center. Jellppo is available on Hyundai Department Store's mobile app, website, and KakaoTalk channel.

Hyundai Department Store plans to undertake system monitoring and development for more stable system operation and service upgrades.
