AhnLab Inc., a computer security solutions provider in South Korea, announced on Thursday that its smartphone security solution "V3 Mobile Security" achieved a perfect score in AV-TEST's mobile security solution performance evaluation. AV-TEST is a global security product testing institute.

In the mobile security solution performance evaluation conducted by AV-TEST in January, V3 Mobile Security obtained a perfect score in all three evaluation categories.

These categories include "diagnostic rate," which evaluates the latest malicious code detection performance, "performance," which measures the impact on smartphone performance when the device is running, and "usability," which measures misdiagnosis in apps in Google Play and private app stores.

Kim Chang-hee, head of AhnLab's product service planning office, stated that smartphone security threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, with malicious apps impersonating famous apps being discovered in app stores.

He added that AhnLab aims to create a secure mobile environment based on its technology, which has received the most certifications in the AV-TEST mobile category in Korea.
