Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Thursday that it launches a new 98-inch Neo QLED 8K TV in South Korea.

The new model is part of Samsung's efforts to diversify its TV lineup and cater to consumers' demand for larger screens.

The 98-inch Neo QLED 8K TV features Samsung's exclusive image quality control technology, Neo Quantum Matrix Pro. This technology uses artificial intelligence to optimize the image quality for each scene, resulting in stunning visuals.

The TV also features a powerful 120W 6.4.4 channel sound system that delivers a cinematic audio experience.

Samsung launches 98-inch Neo QLED 8K in S.Korea

Samsung said that the domestic sales of its 98-inch TVs have been on the rise, with sales doubling in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year. In particular, sales in June increased by about 400% compared to the same month last year.  

The company expects the new 98-inch Neo QLED 8K TV to further boost sales in the South Korean market.
